The assignment was to create a gear train that would reduce the transmission from 2600 W to 400 W. We had to calculate and choose all aspects of the train from the module, the stresses, and the bearings.

I organized the work distribution by identifying people's strengths and planning accordingly, which greatly increased our efficiency. I created a spreadsheet for all necessary calculations, making it easy to adjust gear train parameters, and drew free-body diagrams to clarify our calculations. I was also responsible for the CAD and drawings of all elements on shaft 1.
